Three Month Programme
Homeless women who are referred to us are encouraged to make positive changes in their lives as soon as they arrive, creating a foundation for developing life skills that will be useful long after their time with us.
Making changes needed to move forward include; shedding negative influences, addressing mental or physical health issues, creating a supportive network of relationships and building resilience to external factors.
Our women’s-only accommodation is a fully furnished home that provides a safe home-like environment with kitchen and laundry facilities to encourage communal living.
On a daily basis, our highly trained staff teach and help each tenant achieve their personal goals established on arrival. They also assist in developing life skills, provide personal advocacy and encourage supportive communal living.
By providing our women with three months of temporary accommodation, it allows us enough one-on-one time to establish a trusting relationship, which is fundamental in getting homeless women back on their feet and re-established within our community.
REBUILDING SOMEONE FROM THE GROUND UP TAKES TIME AND HANDS ON SUPPORT
Supporting Our Women
The women we support throughout our programme are offered individual help based on their specific needs and goals.
The Trust's role is to ensure that each woman has access to the necessary support services. These may include access to doctors, drug and alcohol treatment, mental and social health care if needed.
This support is designed to help the women transition into feeling more confident about their situation and move into safe and sustainable accommodation without relapsing back into homelessness.
To provide this support, the Trust works in partnership with local agencies working in the social support sector.
The women we support may arrive at our accommodation and require assistance in setting up the basics of living independently. We assist these women by helping them to gain access to their own personal documentation, education, job opportunities and other practical services as required.

- Education on cost-effective ways to live
We work closely with referral agencies to access and provide medical support to our women who have usually experienced many traumatic incidents in their lives.

WE OFFER A HOME LIKE ENVIRONMENT THAT PROVIDES SAFE SHELTER
There are five bedrooms surrounding a communal environment which are available to women who need a place to call home while going through the difficulties of starting a new life.
The women who are referred to us are given the opportunity to stay for up to three months, where our staff provide caring support and personal advocacy when needed.
On arrival, each resident is taken through the process of creating a support plan, addressing the issues relating to their homelessness, ways to turn their lives around and re-establishing themselves.
Once established and in a stable routine, the Trust can then assist each tenant to find a safe and sustainable accommodation to move into once their time at the Trust has come to an end.
